Verify the wheel RPM's are in range. If they are low or the wheels are not spinning then check the in-line filter for debris. If clear and the wheels still aren't spinning then check the water management system for clogs. If the RPM's are slightly below the prescribed range then remove the restrictor disc from the wall connector. If the wheels are moving too quickly then install the red restrictor disc.

There is too much cable length in the water. Do not unravel the entire cable length. Place only the required length of cable in the water and place the rest on the side of the pool. Follow the procedure in "Cord Tangling" in the manual to avoid and correct tangled cord.

  1. Remeasure the hose to verify that it is adjusted to the proper length for the pool shape.

  2. With the cleaner operating, check that the hose swivels and the hose connections turn freely.

  3. Ensure the hose is floating and the hose floats are positioned properly. Position the first float (k) up against the feed hose connector (j) and then space hose floats 1-3 ft (30-90 cm) apart.

  4. Check the wheel RPM. Target wheel speed is 28-32 RPM. If wheel speed is not in target range, refer to Section 7 Adjust Wheel Speed in the manual.

  5. Straighten the hose assembly by laying it out flat in the sun.

Verify the floating cable enters the water near the middle of the pool length, see Cord Tangling in the Owner's Manual. Spread all of the floating cable carefully in the pool, ensuring there are no kinks or coils.

  1. Verify that the bag has been installed correctly.

  2. Check for air bubbles around the jet body assembly. This may indicate air in the plumbing lines.

  3. Ensure the jets are spraying evenly.

  4. Verify that the water pressure is between 5 and 10 psi.

Note: The cleaner is operating too fast if the sweep hose and bag are not in contact with the pool bottom a majority of the time and the surface module changes directions more frequently than every 15 to 25 seconds. In this case, unscrew the pressure relief valve until the surface module slows down.
