Length of the hose on Pressure Cleaner

How long does the hose need to be on my Polaris pressure cleaner? ?

Having the correct hose length ensures that your Polaris pressure-side pool cleaner functions properly. If it’s too short, it won’t cover your whole pool. On the other hand, you might have issues with the hose tangling if it’s too long.

How to Measure the Hose for Your Polaris Pressure-Side Cleaner

How can you make sure you have the correct hose length? Your hose length will depend on how you installed your cleaner.

For corner or end installations:

  • Connect enough hose to reach the farthest point of the pool, and then add one more section

For center installations:

  • Connect enough hose to reach the farthest point of the pool, and then add one more section

And that's it

Getting the Perfect Hose Length

Essentially, you should be able to walk around to the farthest point of your pool, and the hose end should be within six inches – longer or shorter – of the farthest point.

If your hose is too long, separate the hose at the center swivel, and cut equal amounts of the overage from each ten-foot feed hose section.

If your hose is too short, purchase an additional feed hose section, one swivel and two hose nuts from an authorized Polaris dealer to extend the hose.
