Try these 4 things before taking your robotic cleaner to a service station.

These three common robotic cleaner troubleshooting steps can help you fix your problem and avoid having to go to a service station.

  1. Confirm the filter canister is empty and clean - Remove the filter canister and gently clean the canister mesh with mild soap and a soft brush.

  2. Verify the control box is running in the expected mode - For example, if wall cleaning is expected, be sure it’s running in the “wall cleaning” mode.

  3. Inspect connection points of the cable and control box for corrosion - Corroded connection points could be what’s causing your issues.

When to bring your robotic cleaner in for service

If you try these troubleshooting steps and still suspect there’s a problem with your Polaris robotic cleaner’s control box, cable or motor block, it’s time to take it to a service station for testing. Just be sure to save yourself the hassle by doing these three things first.
